Personal Message
In the work in which I’m currently engaged, I’m looking for examples of teachers who blend academic and social/emotional work with students. How do you create learning environments that are both academically rigorous as well as joyful and engaging? How do you create classrooms where diversity of talents and interests is a strength rather than a liability? How are you creating learning environments that resemble the environments of highly-skilled workplaces? I would also love to hear stories about how you, as successful and passionate educators, maintain your energy and fire for teaching. I have started a Facebook page to help teachers connect around the issue of staying healthy and balanced in the profession.
